Snow White Wishing Well and Fountain

Monday, February 14, 2011

In honor of Valentine's Day today, I thought I'd share one of the romantic spots inside Disneyland, and a place that has held many magical moments with our family... The Snow White Wishing Well and Fountain.
Off to the right of the castle (if you are standing on Main Street), there is a small path with a heart lined bridge that leads you to the wishing well and fountain.
You are instantly greeted once you cross the bridge with a beautiful waterfall fountain of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Every 60 seconds bells will ring, and Snow White will start to sing. It is during the song that three water spitting fish will surface and float in a circle. Once the song is over, the fish go back underwater.
Right next to the fountain is the famous wishing well.
Look how beautiful the scroll work is inside the well. Make a wish, and perhaps you will find Snow White waiting for you.

Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel all hang out near the wishing well.
Next time you pass through the castle, consider taking the pathway on the right instead. You never know when you'll have a magical moment with a princess, or have your dreams come true from a wish in the wishing well.
Happy Valentine's Day.
