I'm live at the D23 Expo to share the details on the Baby Care Center.

The Baby Care Lounge is located on the second floor all the way at the very end next to the auction viewing room.

Inside you will find private curtain off rooms for nursing with a table and comfy chair to use.

There are changing tables with diapers of all sizes to use for free.

There are tables set up in front of a TV for your Little Ones to use.

They are giving away these goodie bags filled with a baby onesie and Winnie the Pooh rattle.

Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives is a MUST SEE at D23 Expo!

If there is one thing I can't stress enough, it's that the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives is FANTASTIC!
The exhibit is 12,000 square-feet, double the size of the D23 Expo in 2009. You will find it at the same location as the first year, but this time you will also go across to the next room where the exhibit will continue on and on.
The Walt Disney Archives have been working on this exhibit for over a year, building everything from the cases to the mannequins.
I'd like to spend a little more detail on this, so here is just a small sample until I do.
 Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

Hocus Pocus

 Television show LOST

Pirates of the Caribbean

Tron
 Rocketeer

Mouseketeers

LOTS more pictures to come as this doesn't even represent half of the costumes and props on display.
If you are going to the D23 Expo this weekend, do yourself a favor and don't miss this!
You'll find Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives located on the second floor.

A Sneak Peek inside Carousel of Projects in the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Pavilion at the D23 Expo

Last night I previewed the Carousel of Projects in the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Pavilion at the D23 Expo. I want to do a quick recap since I will be up again in only a few hours for the official first day of the D23 Expo.
So here we go!
The Carousel of Projects is where you will find all the latest projects in development for all the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

You are greeted right away with the Disney Cruise Line as you enter.
My eye quickly went to Red. As a big Cars fan along with my whole family, you can believe that to say we are excited for Cars Land is an understatement.
How cute is this tractor? Both the tractor and Red will be apart of Radiator Springs Racers. I fell in love with Red right away, and much like the Lightning McQueen that we saw at the first D23 Expo in 2009, Red also has moving eyes that give him emotion. Make sure you get a good look at him, as I was told we will be speeding by him quite fast on the ride.
You can see his eyes move in the video above.
They also have a Radiator Springs Racers vehicle on display.

KaChow!
When you see this Cars Land wall, don't ignore it. Right around the corner you will find a time lapsed video of the Cars Land construction. It's kinda fun to see the progress.
Here is the video above.
With all the construction at the entrance of Disney California Adventure right now, the Carthay Theater is being built fast. Here is a model on display to get a better idea of what's to come to the park.

The Amazing Destini is also worth checking out.
Insert a coin and the Great Destini appears from a curtain. He'll ask you a few questions and have you look into his crystal ball, then he will tell you your fortune. He told me I was in love, and then he gave me a sticker of myself with hearts in my eyes. He is a lot of fun.

Of course there is more including the WDW Fantasyland expansion model, a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train  on display, and the latest news for the  Disney Cruise Line.
I will go in to more detail with more photos later this week.

Disney Flashback Friday: D23 Expo Baby

Welcome to another Disney Flashback Friday!
Since I'm covering the D23 Expo, I thought I would just do a real quick flashback again to the first D23 Expo in 2009.
I had a baby back then... hard to believe!
Back then I was just a regular person who loved Disney, and I wasn't apart of the Disney community that I'm in now. I didn't know anyone, didn't meet up with anyone, and I didn't take a ton of pictures to report my day with others. Here he is in his stroller with a backdrop of attraction posters. We were waiting to see the Cars Land models.
I was a little limited on what I could do. I only went to a few panels because a crying baby doesn't make for a good panel. ;) There was still plenty for us to do and see even without the panels.
And wouldn't you know it... he was awake for the whole thing except for a quick nap.
When the expo was over on the second day, I looked down while walking back to Paradise Pier Hotel and saw a passed out baby. Darn. I wanted to get his picture with surfing Goofy, so I just rolled his sleeping self right up to Goofy and took this shot.
He's decked out in Nightmare Before Christmas with pumpkin socks on. I remember this day well, when I see this photo.

Want to join in? It's easy! The only rules are that it must be a Disney flashback. Your flashback can be from 20 years ago or 1 month ago. It's your flashback so have fun with it.

Please grab the flashback button (copy and paste the code above) to help spread the word, and leave a direct link below to your flashback post. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to say hello to some of the other Disney Flashbacks.
